SUMMARY On the 15th episode of Evolution Now, our guest is Jenny Mirambeau aka Jenergy_flow108. We talk about fire dancing, healing, and spiritual elements of self-transformation. 0:00 – 10:10 Jenny talks about how fire was an early source of inspiration and of creativity in her life. JJ and Damien also make mention of their early experiences playing with fire. One of the aspects that resonates central to Jenny’s life is that of healing. She became aware of these ‘night and day’ shifts in her perception that allow her to find her ‘channeling state’. In this state of awareness she recognized her ability to light other people up in a powerful positive way. Her alignment with this part of herself was a massive stimulant of energy and clarity. Through her own spiritual evolution which relied heavily on shadow work and energy work, she naturally gravitated toward sharing her message with others. The process she went through allowed her to confront the limiting beliefs she held as well as her ego. Curiosity became the vehicle for greater insights and deeper connections. When you confront and embrace even the darkest qualities of yourself, you build the strength to bring upon an internal unity. Jenny shares how her ability to process all of her emotions and share vulnerabilities allows her to connect and clearly communicate abstract elements of growth. 10:11 – 18:45 JJ speaks about how on the other side of embarrassment is praise. The engagement with ones sense of vulnerability increases the power of attraction within that individual. By consistently finding your vulnerability and growing ever more comfortable with it, we unlock more of ourselves. Jenny touches upon the wisdom she has acquired through years of fire dancing. She says that we should embrace failure and use it to expand our idea of who we are in order to impact others. The group discusses the idea of personal breakthrough and how to use that knowledge to drive more conscious change. When you keep the personal insights that created the breakthrough in your mind’s eye with daily consistency, you can shift the baseline of your emotional state. When you heal, you discover a sense of inner unity. By creating that inner unity, you can view the world with a greater sense of benevolence. Another element that Jenny touches upon is the work she has done with her ego. By adapting a position of love in regard to her ego, she has been able to use the power of acceptance in the places where she once struggled to face within herself. She goes on further to explain that when we use judgment and tactics of aversion we perpetuate those same cycles we are aiming to avoid. In order to stay focused on the inner work, it is essential to meet yourself and others with love. This has an ordering effect which appeals to the healing energy of unity consciousness. 18:46 – 29:45 The discussion moves deeper into the work around understanding the ego. For what feels like a loss to the ego is a gain to the soul. By making oneself aware of the reactive nature of the ego, we as the individual can drive energy away from its power. Fire dancing has had a large impact on Jenny, its symbolic representation of transformation cannot be overstated. For Jen, the fire is a way to burn away the fear of being seen and being expressive. It also allowed her to burn away the guilt she once felt around having fun and experiencing pleasure. By letting go and burning always these illusions she has been able to liberate a great connection to her body as represented through her dance. Herein lies the liberating power of fire. And the massive changes she experienced in her personal evolution gave way to major shifts in her ability to guide and nurture others. When you let go of that which is false within yourself, the light within emerges. With a greater depth of self, Jen now is able to express and articulate complex esoteric topics/experiences to others. Here she can clarify and define what may seem overwhelming or confusing to others. This skill allows her to bring a sense of security and calm to intense group work. 29:46 – 35:38 The process of growth is tightly woven with an increased ability to love. Yet the path of growth in the spiritual realm is non-linear. Damien mentions an odd phenomena that has happened in his development where as he increased his capacity to love others, he noticed very negative and ‘venomous’ thoughts drifting through his consciousness. The group dives into the topic of meditation and the benefits of maintaining a committed practice. At deeper states of awareness, we the individual shift from experiencing the happenings of the body to being ‘the witness’. Jenny explains the power of being able to sit and be with even the most uncomfortable feelings. With the observation and shift into the witness, we become more patient and compassionate. JJ mentions Mandala Springs, a place where he visited in the past. Jenny had recently spent time there as well.. He points out the powerful effects that cold water can have on the mind. Tapping into the true power of your breath allows you to craft a massive shift where you can tell yourself that you ‘are ok’ whilst enduring the stress of the cold. The resistance around taking a cold plunge is a great test to bring yourself outside your comfort zone while strengthening your mind and building your mental powers of well-being. 35:39 – 42:20 The talks on cold water applications extended. The group speaks on the benefits of building mental toughness with challenges in the external world to create internal (emotional) order. This skill allows the individual to be something greater than a slave to their emotions. The cold water puts us in contact with a raw part of ourselves, that if harnessed can become one of the greatest alleys in our process of transformation. Jenny speaks on her profound experiences at the music festival Burning Man. Here she found inspiration for fire dancing, getting comfortable with performance and her self-expression. The power of the mini community of Burning Man helped her clarify a full vision of her art. 42:21 – 48:35 JJ speaks on how discomfort and times of increased stress cause us to ‘drop our shield’ and connect with our authenticity. When energy is down, we are unable to ‘keep up the veil’. So whatever raw emotions come out, we can be sure that by expressing our truth we can find our authentic self which brings deep connection which aids transformation. The discussion goes deeper into Burning Man and the radical expression embodied therein. Jenny describes the festival as a creative rebellion from the norms of everyday society. When asked Jenny her thoughts on what the name ‘Evolution Now’ means. JJ expands on her answer, he touches upon how our personal and professional evolution are not only intertwined, but furthermore how they play off of and feed each other. 48:36 – 54:00 Discussion on Poy, spinning fire props. How this practice serves the individual by balancing one’s sense of equilibrium. The group also touches on sacred geometric shapes and how the role they play in energy work. 54:01 – 1:02:57 A discussion on the ‘third eye’ or what Jenny calls the deep center of intuition. To open the third eye is to find your inner voice and use it as a guide. Episode wrap up and Jen’s go to quote: let go, and let flow. Events mentions and ways for you to connect with her.
